Your Contributions Keep Our Fees Low
The SDSU Adaptive Fitness Clinic, founded in 1983, serves San Diego’s individuals with minor to
severe physical, developmental, and neuromuscular disabilities, having ranged from 2 to 97 years old, as well as training SDSU kinesiology students.
The mission of the Adaptive Fitness Clinic is to provide quality care at an affordable cost. We are, in part, supported by the University but the majority of our funding comes from client fees. In order to keep our fees low for a population in need, we also rely on donations from the community. Your gift could help a client receive care for as low as $5 a session, allowing them to continue striving towards their goals of walking, standing, and maintaining their independence for as long as they are in need. Further, your contribution helps provide San Diego State undergraduates with a clinical experience unlike any other in the country, making them more prepared and more desirable in a highly competitive field.
